I am in the process of ordering a set of Rota wheels for my Tiger. I have two recommendations of using 15x6 with a 25 mm offset for the front with 195/50 or 195/55 tires. For the rear 15x7 with a 25mm backspace and 205/50 or 205/55 tires.
The vendor has 15x7 30mm backspace. one of the recommendations indicated they have about 1/2" clearance to the rear springs with the 25mm. the wheel with the 30 using a 1/4" spacer would give me that clearance.
The vendor indicated he's sold may of the 15x7 20mm wheels to Sunbeam owners and that they are asking about them now. So, I need to kind of poll the owners of Rota wheels to see what offsets (backspace) you are using, and what kind of clearances you have.
I would also like to find out what size tires and manufacturers you are using. The car will be used for normal driving, no auto crossing etc. It has stock suspension. I did have the rear fender lips cut down to 5/8" for more tire clearance.
Thank uou

I got Rota wheels from eBay a few years ago. I can't find the exact specs right now but believe the fronts are 15 x 6 with 25 offset and rears are 15 x 7 with 30 offset.
I have Yokohama Avids, 185 55 15s front and 195 55 15s rear. I didn't do anything with the fender lips so I played it a little safe with the width on the rears. I am using 3/16 spacers which gives equal gaps from the tire to the leaf springs and the fender inner lips and it's not a lot - about 5/16". I'm not crazy about using the spacers and installing longer wheel studs is on my to do list.
I've been quite happy with the feel and performance.

I stand corrected. I used the term backspace, and it is actually offset.
