Steering wheel hub

Not sure if this is the correct spot for this post.

I have a cracked steering wheel hub on my MK1. I’m trying to find out how to disassemble the hub and what is involved in replacing the hub.

Does this hub come apart?

It is made of plastic and falls apart when you remove it. My friend and I have a replacement two piece Delrin machined hub kit we sell but are now out of stock. Hope to have another batch made soon. I will keep you posted. Thanks, Eric

Thanks for the quick reply. Is the Delrin hub a direct replacement for the original to use my stock wheel?

Chris Reedhas also recast that hub for me several times in Place as original. Excellent fit . No affiliation, just sayin’.

What material does Chris us? Plastic? Delrin lasts forever......
