Hello all,

Recently I’ve been attempting to locate several hard to find parts for my final steps to complete my decades long restoration.

I’ve located and obtained seat bottom cushions for my MK1. I’ve also located two people to rebuild your stock wood Tiger wheels and “new” center hubs.

Mike Ruckman: 1 (813) 313-7343
For refurbished wood or new wood replacement.

Eric Gibeaut: 1 (803) 408-0206
For center wheel hubs.

Both of these people do beautiful work. So I hope this helps those of you that would appreciate improving your stock wheel or would like to return to a stock wheel from an aftermarket wheel.

As a side note, Mike told me he is getting orders to upgrade Alpine wheels to wood.
If you have an extra metal core you might contact him to see if you can do business.

PS, I’m still looking for a center radio console? Any leads would be appreciated.

Thanks Hap for your kind words about the steering wheel hub repair kit that I sell and I recently had another batch of them machined. These are made in the USA and the cost is $375 and that includes the USPS shipping and insurance to USA addresses. You can PayPal me at sunbeams@sc.rr.com or send any questions to me.
Mike Ruckman makes a really nice steering wheel!
His website is https://britishcarinteriors.com/index.php

Eric, it’s always nice to find people that support our cars with quality replacement parts.

Your hub makes you one of those people. The transaction, shipping, and payment were also first class.

The second part was the radio console. Thank you to those who replied and provided me with some follow contacts. I will begin my search shortly.

I spent all day today shoveling and plowing the two feet of snow we got last night.

Happy Turkey Day Everyone,
Hap
