I have owned this Tiger for 33 years. In the mid 1990's I decided to build the car for open track events, and not worry about cosmetics.
The front crossmember, suspension and engine were rebuilt for that purpose. The rear end has a Torsen limited slip and DW torque arm.
The car was used almost exclusively at COCOA and Shelby Club open track events from 1999 through 2004, when 2 baby boys changed my priorities. Since then it has only gone on occasional drives around the neighborhood. It never overheated or gave me any trouble.
Has current CA registration and insurance.
Parts include: interchangeable open and muffled exhaust, fresh chromed bumpers and over-riders from Vernes Plating in Gardena, never put on car, aftermarket hardtop which needs new rubber, extra doors w/windows, extra trunk lid, brake discs and calipers, and more.
Alpine tub with great doors, trunk, floors, rockers included if wanted.
Help with delivery can be arranged if reasonable distance from Acton area.
B382002003 will be at Willow Springs this weekend during Tiger Club meeting.

At 1:55 the video is no longer from inside the car, and you can see what the car looks like.

Sale pending/deposit in hand

I'm glad it is going to someone who wants to vintage race. That is what I once dreamed of.
I am heartbroken at the thought of letting it go. I truly loved that car. It was such a thrill to be at speed on the track with real cobras, GT350s, Panteras and even a real GT40 (along with fellow Tiger owners).
I still have a Tiger, but my first and best love is going away.
