Maybe they confused the retail value of a tiger...

Id wonder how many alpines stateside have sold over 30k.. Most seem to be mid teens and very nice ones in the low 20s

That looks like it was a well loved car, I hope the driver didn't get hurt.

The front damage appears to be from the car hitting a tree or telephone pole.

The trunk looks like a tree fell on it.

If an Alpine owner restores a car and leaves nothing untouched which means rebuilding the drive train, suspension, plating and uses a shop that knows Sunbeams for the body work you'll find the cost to be 40 K or higher. That means you'll never recover the cost of restoration if you decide to sell the car. As Michael said, an owner may get the low to mid teens for the car. An Alpine owner has to be an enthusiast to start with this. I saw a really nice rust free Alpine that came from the south and spent it's time at a local shop getting things sorted and it was sold to the current owner for a cost in the low teens.

The info on Copart under primary damage says "all over". They were right about that. The photo makes you wonder what happened that he went off the road and into the woods.
