I should have my custom wheels here this week and I'll post a picture !!
I think 7 1/2" are about as big as you can go without adding flares
to the wheel wells...mine are 7 1/2 "

At 7" you should still check the offset and watch the clearence between the koint that forms the lip and the tyre sidewall. It will depend what profile height the tyre is, but a good thing to do is roll the lip (better than trimming it) and once rolled fill the recess with flexible body filler or silicone so that debris cant gather in there and cause rust.
Duke.. why the VTO 8's? I like their libre style wheels.. but the 8 IMHO are sort of a not as nice copy of the minilite.. i think the minilites, panasports, superlites and compomotives all look much nicer than those.. not a big afn of the minator minilite replicas either.. its all in the spoke design.
