drag racing video

Hi Duke, thanks for posting those.
Are the last two videos (tire burning and dyno) the only two that are taken after you figured out that the oil ring was bent over and causing problems?

If so then it's amazing your fastest drag race time was just over 12 seconds despite the ring issue.

Thanks guys,

Yes those two are after the fix. I look forward to getting to the track again as I have a Holley Ultra HP 650 feeding the engine now too. I have been on a late model Mustang forum for info on my 347. The Fox bodies Mustangs are running mid to low 11's with as much or less HP than I have and 700 lbs. more of car. I should be in the 11's for sure once I have the balls to launch at 6000 rpm with drag slicks.

Always enjoy watching your Tiger perform.

I still think you need to make some "How To" videos for us less talented.

What do you want to know "How To"? I have always said, that I do nothing new with my car. If I am blazing a new trail, I am wrong as it has all been done over the past 46 years.

Nothing in particular...Just a bit of self-deprecating humor on my part. I can use help on just about any project I undertake, including routine maintenance of my Tiger.

I have all the manuals, shop notes etc but I still get a lot of help from the guys on this forum, who often walk me through things by the numbers. Your videos just reminded me of the old saying that a "picture (video) is worth a thousand words."
