Installed the fuel cell mount and found that I couldn't easily get to the trunk latch. So pulled the mount out and did a clean up on the Tiger latch, updated the hardware and installed it. Need the grommet, but only if it fits in though the top as I'm not taking it out again 
In a burst of energy (a few days later), remounted the fuel cell mount, and finally bolted in the fuel cell. Plumbed all the lines and secured them. A few more clamps needed but mostly done. Trunk closes just fine with it too, so I got lucky and measured correctly for once.
