The stock MK1/1A uses a 6 tooth drive gear and and a 15 tooth driven gear (on the cable )
MKII's use a 7 tooth drive gear and and a 17 tooth driven gear
Both combinations will give more or less accurate reading with stock ish height tire of around 24"" high... with stock 2.88 rear and stock 980 rev./mile speedo...
In the David Kee toploader catalogue, it lists the drive gears 6 tooth - green, 7 tooth - yellow and also lists an 8 tooth - brown that will fit Sunbeam Tiger.
The 15 tooth driven gear is pretty much NLA.. color is... well not really much color on a used one
...see pic
Readily available gears are... 16 tooth - Burgundy, 17 tooth - White, 18 tooth - Yellow, 19 tooth - Pink, 20 tooth - Black and 21 tooth - Red
As Randy said, these are RH gears... If you have a lower rear than 2.88's or shorter than stock tire, the higher number driven gears will give you a more accurate speedo... For instance, running 205/50-15's and 3.31 gears, the calculator says either 6/18 or 7/21 is about right...
Hope that helps
