PS, if you just wanted to have the look of the original shifter with the t handle reverse lever, you can buy those and an adapter from autokrafters.com. At least you could in the past. They attach to fit the Hurst mechanism inside the shifter lever boot. The t reverse lever doesn't work, but everything looks "correct". That way you keep the tight shift gate the Hurst gives you. Still push down on knob to get to reverse. No affiliation with them either.
