I have a relative selling off his Tiger collection.

Cars include

A beautiful Dale A. red 1964 Mark 1, Could be Dale's best ever, and that is according to Dale. You can read the details on this car here:

https://www.hemmings.com/stories/article/sunbeam-surprise-1964-mk1-sunbeam-tiger

A 1966 Mark 1A black, a Paul Reizentz restoration,

and

A stunning commodore blue Tiger II, probably the most original tiger 2 on the planet, shockingly low miles.

Cars are out of state but I can provide pictures on request.

I believe all cars have their original hardtops.

He also has some Shelby Mustangs for sale. He is moving and is thinning his Shelby herd.

Contact me if interested. keith.easler@gmail.com

mk 1a

this car has a fun history, a CAT member had this car on the side of his house for 30+ years he reluctantly sold it when someone made him an offer he could not refuse. This new owner lost his job midway through the restoration and that is where my brother in law came in, bought the car, paid the restoration cost and started his collector car journey. There is more to the story but I wont bore you.

a few more mk1A photos

a few more mk1A photos including a picture of the car when the 2nd owner took it home
This tiger broke down in 1971 and sat covered until 2006. When the Third owner convinced the second owner to sell it.

The Third owner started its restoration with Paul Resientz but lost his job and could not finish it. The 4th owner and really only the 2nd person to drive it, finished the restoration.

Some of the original parts that belong to this car are still out there as Paul sold them as a way to cover his costs when the 3rd owner couldnt make payments. This includes the LAT hood and steering wheel.

All of the restoration is fully documented. The original engine was rebuilt, the 3rd owner selected to use an edelbrock intake and holley 4 barrel. I believe the original intake and 2 barrel are still with the car.

the transmission was gone through but because of the low miles it did not require a full rebuild.

A canvas tool roll is shown in these photos but I am certain a full original tool kit is housed under the boot cover, I should get a few more photos of the spare tire area posted shortly.

A full restoration receipt book is available and provides all of the details of the work that the car went through.

The car has the original LAT wheels shown in that photo taken from 1985

Mk1A pre restoration photos

The second owner was kind enough to provide these photos from the day he sold the car to the 3rd owner

He has also provided me with a copy of the bill of sale which documents the
facts provided above:

the car had not ran since 1971
his ownership taking place in 1985
and sale date of 2006.

It appears this black code 1 mkia ( rare itself) had a mkii grill too

Yes, I if I recall the story, the original owner, rudy tria had installed that mkII grill.

I will ask owner #2 about its origins to confirm that.

Although the Tiger 2 has sold, a CAT member provided me with some photos of from the the book written by Colin Comer that featured this car.

I know the new owner is enjoying his new car.
