I was in Carlsbad driving the MKII a few months ago and came across a guy with a 1963 Alpine and of course I had to flag him down and chat about his car.
Nice guy named Bob Fitzgerald who lives in Carslbad. Well he tells me he's selling his car so I thought I'd post his ad here if anyone's interested. I have no skin in this, just thought if anyone in the community is looking for nice original California black plate Alpine. I have no more room for another Rootes vehicle.

The car is a very late series II, has the very late II details.

The car appears to be a decent car, it's not a "survivor", It's definitely had a rolling restoration, or at some point needed some attention that's triggered some changes.. quite a few SII specific parts have gone missing and been replaced.

If the body is solid it could be a really nice starting point for a very nice early Alpine.. or drive as is.

You would want to look at the floors and X brace a d id also carefully check for signs of a front bump at some point and if so how well it was sorted.
