Holy Cat Batman! Mk2

So after 3 pages, who is going to stump up for this very neglected MK2, not this brown duck. My rust free very damaged MK1 may be at the body shop before Xmas. Still gonna cost north of 70K
:D

At auction by RM at Amelia in March.
Be nice to see pictures of the shell after a acid bath or any restoration shots.

Would be interesting to see how they did the body.
The lower front valence profile looks quite flat in some photos.

Also interesting how the wide whotewalls look ok on the early cars but certainly don't suit the later ones, particularly a mkii with the lower stripe decals.

Rescued

It did sure look wounded in the beginning, BUT, we've dragged worse examples back from the dead. Just sayin'

Why is it when I look at the 'restored' pics the first thing that comes to mind is 'The Great Gatsby' ??:O

So, it appears this car is (B382100504) making another appearance next month at Mecum;

Comments in the FB Sunbeam Tiger group suggest this is a known rebody that was sold at Amelia during Covid. Any comments in the registry? Opinions, please?
There are hidden diffs that clone builders seem to miss every time. I have examined several beautiful Tigers that weren't. Just sayin'

So if I read correctly it sold for $95K in 2019. Soft market for Tigers six years later? There's a nice Mk II that's been on eBay for some time now that can't get seem to get above $98K
