The Cottonwood Canyon Winery's Caves were built several decades ago to give the perfect 62° temperature and high humidity to properly age wines. The caves were the first built in Santa Barbara County. Along with the cave tour, at least 6 different wines will be sampled with small food parings also being provided.
The registration fee for Full Participants ($175 until the end of April, then $195) includes this Wine Tasting and Cave Tour (which costs the general public $29).
If a Spectator plans to attend the Concours and wants to join the Wine Tasting and Cave Tour, the event registration form provides the option to purchase the Tasting for $25 in advance.
As a clarification, those registering as Full Participants receive a meal at the Welcome BBQ, a Lunch at the Autocross and a meal at the Awards Banquet. These four events (including the Wine Tasting) are all paid as part of the Full Participant's Registration Fee.
