I’ve purchased 60’s Volkswagen flexible cardboard hose. Seemed to fit and look the part back in the day.

The VW stuff is similar. You have to remember, The UK is the same overall size as the state of Oregon... a lot of the parts for all English cars are from the same source. The defroster/demister hoses are the same as those for MG, Healey, TR and tons of other Brit cars.... I have used the ones from Moss for years. They are completely the same dimensionally and in appearance...

Speaking as your retired auto parts man…any decent parts store should have this in stock, or can get it overnight. Just take a sample or measure the ID.
