After so many years I hit a major milestone today. Installed the motor, transmission and front suspension. I got the rear end in earlier in the week. It is starting to look like a car again. Another month or two and I hope to be on the road.

Your car looks beautiful Mike, give yourself 2 months and drive it to the Queen's English show in late April.

Beautiful Car

Mike,

Your hard work and dedication to your car shows in the photos - what a beautiful car! I can't wait to see it once it is done.

Double vision

You and Dave parked together.
By the way , there is no picture credit: on the roster . Is that your car Dave ?
It looks like the parking lot in El Porto, that is by the power plant in El Segundo by the Los Angeles Airport .
Don't be shy now Mike show us more.

Warren,
Yes - that is my car. I gave a bunch of photos of Tigers and CAT activities to the guy who put together the roster a couple of years ago and he selected that photo for the cover. And you know your South Bay - I took some photos there on Vista del Mar, close to El Porto.

Jealous...

Super clean, painted, electrical in, some nice looking parts...

Oh, and the red car inside that envious garage looks great too.

I'm not too far behind. Just wiring, brakes, motor, front end, rear end, glass, interior, oh boy.... And travel preventing more progress lately.

Excited for your build. The intake is painted to match motor, hipo?

Making more progress

I have made a little more progress. Maybe another month or two and I will be done.

Fantastic work. Will this be a driver or are you doing the car show thing for awhile? You almost want to display it on blocks so people can see how great it looks underneath.

Show?

Hey Bruce, just trying to do it as correctly as I can. Don't know if I will have it judged. I have worked to hard for people to tell me where I screwed up. Judged or not that will probably happen anyway. I guess constructive criticism can help me make it better. You know my car is most likely the car you saw in SD in the 80's that you passed on because it was to rough?

Lookin' Good!

Mike,

Your car is looking very good! Glad to see it is almost finished. Are you thinking about taking it up Monterey in August? Looking forward to seeing it, wherever and whenever that may happen.

David
