I have replaced my crumbling hand brake cable boot. The part that I found to fit is a “parking brake cable dust boot” for 1973-1987 Chevrolet or GMC Truck or a 1980-81 Corvette.
It is very difficult to get the small end over the threaded adjustment tube. I used lithium grease, heat, compressed air (tried to inflate it a little) with varying results but I eventually was successful.
It’s longer than the original part but once it is on it fits extremely well. Picture attached.
