Martha Christiansen (Pro Prep) is retiring??

Martha is retiring soon and is not accepting any new jobs. Once she finishes what she has in the pipeline, that's it...she's done! We will miss her fabulous Sunbeam interior work. If anyone knows an upholsterer who might be a suitable replacement, please let the community know.

She did great work over the years. Her work will be missed. These seats, carpet and panels were made by her 30 years ago. Still looks good.

I bought a set of carpets last year.. Fit perfectly. It's a crying shame that no one is interested in the trades like they used to be. When I was a punk kid in the late 70's, all I wanted to to do was work on cool cars... Now all that kids are interested in are their phones... I can't think of a better reason why their parents shouldn't have eaten them while they were still "soft". Except maybe that they smelled funny!

We have a 38 year old in the family that has two boys. One is 14 and the other is 16. Billy has been known to ground the boys for 30 days. He does it by taking away their phone, X Box and all other electronics. The items get locked in the gun cabinet. The 16 year old does help his dad and me in the garage when needed.

Does she intend on selling the patterns for the seats along with the carpet patterns? Business opt for someone when she’s done with the last orders. Of course with Martha’s skill level may be hard to match.

Actually Martha is not completely retiring. She plans to still sell product though Sunbeam Specialties.
I heard this from a person that spoke to her this week and confirmed it with Sunbeam Specialties who added that they had just received a shipment from Martha that day.
