The monthly SCCA autocross, usually held at Lake Elsinore, is making a rare and convenient visit to Anaheim Stadium May 17. The one-day event will offer timed class runs in the morning in a run/work format. Tigers usually run in the Historic 1 class session and will get 4 timed runs. All classes are required to also work one session, marshalling the course. The afternoon practice session allows as many test runs as time permits but has a limited number of participants. Basic tech requirements are the same as C.A.T. autocrosses, Helmet certified to Snell 2010 spec or later. Entry fee for the morning 4 timed runs session is $70. The afternoon practice and test session is $110, but currently waiting list only. Either event requires a weekend SCCA membership at $15.
