My phone has been ringing this morning with folks calling to tell me that Vintage Racecar Magazine's August issue has a 7 or 8 page cover story on the Shelby and Sports Car Forum race Tigers.

I called and ordered "a few" copies but have not yet actually seen the issue.

Then to make the day even more interesting, I got several more calls. These told me that the new September Hemmings Sport & Exotic Magazine also has an article on Sports Car Forum.

I can't wait to read the articles. Anyone know where I can buy the Hemmings magazine in the SoCal area?

The Hermosa/Redondo Bch. bookstore/newsstand on PCH might be the place to call/ask if they don't have it.

Their photog is always snapping at the various car meets and summer cruises around here. I'll sneak up and frisk his Range Rover for any loose copies.
 
We found a copy.

Boy did they do a spread! Tiger on the cover. Tiger as the two-page center fold and then 8 more pages of story and pictures. Interesting to see the driver's comments about his impression of the Tiger's reputation for "evil handling".

We went and looked for it last weekend--they stil had the July issue on the stands. I'll try again this weekend.
 
Autobooks on Magnolia in Burbank has/had it.

I still am looking for the September issue of Hemmings Sport & Exotic that has the Sports Car Forum article that Moondoggie reported. I've heard it will hit the magazine stands in a week or two.
