32 years ago I sold my 1st Tiger to a nice young man, he enjoyed it for 10 years or so then sold it on. I am selling my beater and got a call from a man today--turns out it is the same man. He sold the Tiger, got into boats and family and now is looking for a car to replace the one he used to own. Here are a few pics of the car as it progressed through the years.........

Nice Historic Photos

Nice historic photos of a car you once owned. It is so nice that you met up with the next owner and he shared these with you. What color was it when you sold it?

Loved the photo of it with the other Tigers around it. Any idea of where or when or what event?

Thanks!
David

I had the car when it was black. I bought an Alpine and stripped it of the good parts, complete doors, some interior parts, hard top, etc..... Gave up on both after a few years and sold it black.
The next owner painted it the flat red and auto crossed it for years, said he did very well with it. I saw it in the late 80's most likely at a TU. He sold it red and lost track of it.
I somehow tracked down the new owner earlier this year, he has had it for about 10 years and is enjoying the car.
The 2nd owner is going to send me pics of it when he owned it, I hope to pass them onto the current caretaker.

Looks that way, haha. I was young, it was the 80's and I really have no other excuse for you. :)
You can see the Alpine wire wheel in the driveway--I must have been swapping brakes as the Alpine was a nice driver when I got it...not so after I raped it.
