Hi all,
I posted a couple of weeks back about a Tiger that I had known for may years that had recently become available, well today was the day I drove it home!
All was fine until the gauges, brake lights and flashes all quit, I thought "welcome back to old Brit cars Paul!"
It is a nice unmolested original car, all is there right down to the Autolite 2100, the motor has never been opened.
Has some rust along bottom of the right rear quarter, as well as some bubbles in the paint at the bottom trailing edge of the right front fender, but we got it up on a lift at my buddy the rusty Ford restores place, and even after full borescope and ice pick treatment, everything else is original and solid. It appears to have never seen our winters, thank the Tiger Gods for that!
Now I'll begin sorting it out and refreshing, the owner for the past eight years was very nice but not a car guy so he just let it sit, much work ahead.
Here are a few picks, I'll join CAT and make it all official, now if I can just figure out what happened to my flashers and gauges???
Cheers,
Paul
PS. I had to rent a trailer to bring home all the spare parts that came with it, the trailer was full, I post pics over the next few days of my haul!
